All Went well

Posted on February 4, 2010 at 13:21 1 Comment

Just wanted to let all know that my first event on Sat went really well. There were three last minute cancellations which was rather frustrating, but the guests that came were lovely and full of stories and we all had a lovely evening and I hope to add some photos of the food as soon as I can load them up.

Hope to do another one end of Feb beginning of March.

Hello Rachel.

I am an average cook too and I host supper nights and Vintage afternoon tea. I think if you really
enjoy what you do, and aim to do your best and welcome your guests warmly I am sure you will do
well. People are generally gracious and enjoy the alternative feel that you get from actually eating in someones home.

It's harder work than people realise but you get real satisfaction from it, especially the first night. Keep
your sense of humour.. good luck. If your interested view me at lovepoppyfood.blogspot
