Well, We have been thinking of starting this secret club for over two years now.   So we are really excited to be actually starting!!

My names Karen and I've just set up Lexi's Larder, doing supper clubs and afternoon teas on a Sunday. I believe it's the first of its kind in Lincolnshire so I'm keen to get as many bookings as possible to hopefully make the first foray into the underground restaurant a successful one.

Thinking that secret tea parties in my home for around 10-20 guests were getting a little easy and boring (that's a joke), I decided to rent a village hall with a friend and really go for it! It wasn't perhaps as easy as we'd thought selling 50 tickets but we did it in the end and it was an incredible amount of work but great fun. We'll do it again next year. Our 2nd afternoon tea party went well, we learnt a lot from the first, but we still did far too much food. I guess not everyone will take 'one of everything' after all, you can only eat so much. Even my greedy little nephew would be pushed to end on 7 cakes!
