I wouldn't worry, we have all been there-there was no one doing it in Manchester when we started last September but we just went for it and it's grown since. As Lynn and Gwyneth said, definitely have a look at MsMarmiteLover's book too! It has a lot of helpful hints.

If you mean how do you start a supper club then get Kirsten's book, tells you everything. I've a home-baker and I set up my own afternoon tea delivery business from home last year www.vintageafternoonteas.co.uk, took a course in Food Safety, got my kitchen registered with the local authority, got some public liability insurance and some business cards printed and started handing them out...and it's taken off from there. Heard about supper clubs along the way and I'm hosting my first secret afternoon tea party on 5 June and can't wait. I visited The Spice Club, Manchester's only supper club to date, to see how it worked, and enjoy the fabulous food, and Monica the host encouraged me to give it a go. I've advertised the new tea club through an email to friends and customers, twitter and facebook. We'll see how it goes and then I might do it again. Good luck!
