your event sounds wonderful!  If I wasn't so far away I'd love to come! In any case I'll be hosting my very first dinner that evening, so think of me with a toast! Good luck with yours! And if you come up north some day, come and pay us a visit! Véronique

Thanks for that, Jen.

I've emailed Annie (Annie's Supper Club), and she has been really helpful and supportive. In fact we have lots in common, and I'm sure I'll be a great resource as I set up my Tea Parties! Hope your gluten free night goes well... I look forward to reading about it!

Best, Jane

Thanks for the advice, both menu's allow me to do the starters and the desserts ahead of time and also a lot of the main course can also be done with the final cooking done just before serving.

Thanks xxx

Bonjour Jennie,

THX for joining my Facebook page. THX for the comment on my cakes as well. This is a venture that I started only a few months ago. First, because I love baking and cooking in general, but also because I am a bit fed-up of seeing cakes in the shop that look French and are not, and homemade is always better anyway. At the moment I sell at two farmer's markets here in Cambridgeshire, right now I'm doing it for fun, because i have my two daughters to look after first, but business is picking-up. I love the idea of a supper club, but I don't really know where to start, I think this is something I have to seat down and think about for maybe sometimes next year, but any tips are welcome. Merci Jennie. Corinne. I shall follow you on Facebook as well. Good luck.

Hi Jennie
I have written some menu's and posted them on facebook, take a look and let me know what you think as any advice would be really appreciated.
http://www.facebook.com/TheSauceQueen or my website www.thesaucequeen.co.uk it desperately needs updating at the moment as I now do 7 sauces

I sell my sauces at a few farm shops in various area's where are you based and I can tell you if there is a local shop you might be able to get one to test out.

Do I need to update the website with any supper club details, any advice you have would be great as I'm unsure how to start a club up

Many thanks
El

Hello or shall I venture a "bonjour" as I am French. I am new to this supper club adventure and I've not yet tried one, but I will as soon as I find one near me. I am a food lover myself, with a particular love for puddings and that's why I set-up a home French patisserie called Gourmandises, I have a website www.gourmandises.co.uk. I have bought Kerstin Rogers Book to find out how to set-up a supper club. As well as puddings I'm a good cook in general and known amongst my friends for my cooking from the Island of Reunion where I come from. Anyway I shall keep you posted on all of this, but a big merci for being a member. This is just great.

Hi thanks for the message. I have a website www.supernourished.com. also on facebook and twitter. I'm a nutritional therapist and I run food classes, I'm also thinking about starting a supper club to give me an opportunity to try out recipes and experiment. Would be vegetarain and raw food as I trained as a raw food chef last year. I'd be grateful for any tips! Jayne

I have never done facebook or twitter. I have a website and e-mail. I'm a passionate though small scale producer. I've almost sold out of this latest batch of beef. I've still got silverside and topside joints. If you want to order special cuts such as whole fillets or ribs I can book them in advance with my butcher. I can also supply seasonal home grown fruit and veggies to your box. I hope to be able to supply honey from this Autumn. I'm getting a hive of bees this month.

Thankyou for your interest

Emma
