Calling All Allotment Holders and Fruit & Veg Growers.

The next Supper club is only a week away,so I have been out in the garden dodging the showers to check out the Nelsons vegetable 'pots'. Having a sloped garden backing on to woodlands and a stream, doesn't present the ideal veg plot, so we try hard to grow in pots. Having limited success this year with the rain, sparse sun and late planting. The squirrels have helped themselves to the broccoli and something has eaten the carrot tops right away. Some of our tomato plants have shriveled and others have given a fair yield. The cucumbers and courgettes have been the winners, the green beans are way behind.!

OK I know about cooking, and I am trying to produce home grown produce, but its obviously a big learning curve!  However  I am determined  to source local seasonal produce and need help!!

So anyone who 'grows' or knows someone who 'grows', I am looking for green beans and carrots and actually  can take most things off your hands if you have a glut. I make chutney and all sorts of delicious recipes. I  will make a fair contribution in exchange for produce.
