thanks for wishing me luck. I have just had to make 2 batched of my potato crisps as i've never made them before and the first lot didn't work. I have the most awful tension headache. I'll try and take pictures tonight and post them up tomorrow.

Thank you for making contact. I am very new to this & I have never blogged before. I am thinking of running a 'secret super club' from my shed! It is a large shed & there is a open plan kitchen (I do outside catering) with wood burner & enough space to seat people. Feeling very nervous though & don't know where to start making contact with potential customers. Is it best to try it out on friends first?

i've decided to take the bull by the horns regarding getting bookings. I've contacted a load of local papers and magazines and a couple so far have come back to say they would be interested in doing a feature. fingers crossed. I know what you mean about nerves. My first one is next friday and I suddenly feel sick at the thought. I've got lists all over the place. There's plenty of space for you pitch your tent in the spring, in fact that might be a good event idea! It's nice to hear that you learnt your cooking from your mother. My 11 year old son was reading Nigel Slater the other day and he wants to make chocolate brownies when he gets home to take to school on Monday for his birthday. keep blogging. JulesX

Oh don't worry...I was always quaking in my boots, still do...believe me, if anybody is sympathetic to your plight it's me!
My reviews are rarely critical, more informative.

Hi Mia, thanks so much for your comment! Yes, please drop me a note in advance and I will gladly secure a table for you! And if I can be of any assistance to you as for the Spanish Riding School, please let me know, too. That's surely a Vienna highlight! Lots of love from the Dining Room kitchen, angelika

Stunning :) proper country side. My view is of the BBC and BT tower! Keep it up, will be tough at the beginning. I had a crisis of confidence last night and wanted to cry and cancel everything! I did not of course and feel fine after a good nights sleep. Keep blogging, I am dreadful at that though I did some Search Engine Optimisation for this forum and places some links in good traffic building places like wikipedia, so we should start to get more and more hits. Watch this space. Your little girl looks georgous by the way. I got into cooking becuase of my mother, she cooks classic French food and used to do a supper club and the 60's and 70's. I love the way food skills are handed down generation to generation. Hugs, xx

That's great that your boyfriend is supporting you. Hpe he invites all is friends. My poor hubby has to be a waiter for the night (after a commute home from Soho). I've posted 2 pix for you. One shows that we live in the middle of nowhere (but with a great view) and the other is my daughter making pancakes. I'm trying to blog every day and I really appreciate your feedback. Although I would love to come to one of your events it's impossible for now so, I have passed your details on to my brother.
