Encore! Last year we did two Thanksgiving dinners at the Nomad Chef. This year will be no different, but they will be much better. Our second Thanksgiving dinner, scheduled as an early Sunday dinner (true American style), will not only feature everything fun and fusion in food a la turkey, but also an amazing house concert with transatlantic folk, soul and blues!
For a review of last year’s Thanksgiving, read here.
The US & THE BRIT UK TOUR: PART 2 will be joining us for dinner. In addition to traditional and irreverent Thanksgiving gluttony and gastronomy we will have three super musicians in our line up. See more info below.
The dinner will include an incredible aperitif, a multi-course meal, plus several incredible pies and puddings. But as always, a great meal is made up of its constituent parts – the people, the ambiance and the food! Secret suppers are in a category all their own! And this Nomad Chef Thanksgiving house concert is an event not to be missed! Book soon. Last year tickets to both dinners sold out within days of being announced. We want to make sure to see you!
A vegetarian option is always available.
£45 per adult as contribution for food – you bring your own wine or alcoholic beverage.
US & THE BRIT UK TOUR: PART 2:
Friends from an exciting New York singer/songwriter community that is garnering attention worldwide, Berger, Rogers & Hawley stand out from the crowd. With internationally-syndicated television appearances, world tours and multiple songwriting awards, it’s hard to believe that each member of this trio is under 30.
As likely to have their audience in stitches as they are with a lump in their throat, all three are natural-born performers.
Playing on each other’s songs in a Nashville-style songwriter circle, this will be a night to remember.
He was recently announced as winner of Best Story Song at the Independent Music Awards for the title track of his debut album, Snow Globe, judged by Tom Waits, Seal & Anthony DeCurtis (Rolling Stone) among others.
Brooklynite Bess Rogers has created national recognition through her independent releases, her relentless touring, as lead guitarist and backing vocalist for Ingrid Michaelson, and most recently as the singing voice of the nationally televised Mottís For Tots advertising campaign with her song, We Believe In You (watch here).
You might recognize this Harlem-based artist from season 10 of American Idol, when he had the Aerosmith icon Steven Tyler singing along and jamming out, while recognizing him as “Something new and something different” (watch here).
Note: The exact address to the restaurant will be sent out two days before the dinner.
