"What?! Vegan Italian?! How is that possible? That's an oxymoron in itself!"
...and if you are, then we did the first part of our job perfectly.
You see, when we are trying to think of crazy themes for each Paladar, one of the first things that comes to mind is the question, "Will this confuse-intrigue-excite-inspire people so much that they won't be able to NOT attend?" This is a huge goal for the Paladar and one that we love to play with.
So on that note, an explanation of the theme and then the rest will be yours to discover.
November 9th of officially "Chaos Never Dies Day". One description of the day goes like this:
"In the spirit of Chaos Never Dies Day accept that life is messy, surprising and hectic. Stop fighting it and give in to the chaos."
Go ahead... Look it up. It's real. It's also Carl Sagan's birthday (irony or serendipity?)
Anyhow, that got the wheels turnin over here in little ole Nevada City and thus was born the Italian-Vegan-Fibonacci (on a day of excepting chaos in our lives) feast.
We have a very special guest joining us to play music during the meal. His name is Jonathan Richman. He will be playing for both seatings and is a delight to have in any room... especially when he has a guitar with him.
The menu is in it's planning stages already. Ariana wowed us all with her February Paladar and will again, this November, to be sure.
Seating is limited and the first 22 ticket holders (who request the 8pm seating) will be granted that request. After that, everyone else will get the 5pm seating. No exceptions.
Your ticket contribution does not include gratuity or your beverage contribution.
