Each month we will be hosting an Indian Thali supper club at Jane’s Place. We will be serving traditional home cooked Thali’s from different regions of Indian Sub-continent to celebrate our love for Indian cuisine and to show how much more there is to Indian food than the regular curries, rice and naan breads. We will be using our very special fair trade hand blend spices which are blended at my home in Hyderbad,India to make all the recipes even more authentic. Guests will sit around 1 large table (seats up to 12) so whether you’d like the opportunity to meet new people, or come along with old friends, it’s a great way to enjoy a wonderful feast in a unique & relaxed setting.
Thali is traditional Indian way of serving food. It literally means ‘a big plate with little bowls’ and consists of a wide variety of different dishes from starter, through to main, sides and dessert. All the dishes are served on a large platter providing a rainbow of different flavours, textures, nutritional content and colour.
