The Dead Dolls Club started as a design studio and soon expanded into creating totally unique dining experiences. This pop-up dining spot has been redesigned as an old-style parlour bar. The decor is understated, and every bit of furniture has been crafted specifically for the space from reclaimed materials found in the surrounding area. It’s here you’ll enjoy a mouth-watering three-course dinner. Start with home-made potato gnocchi in sage butter. This is real comfort food, with warm gnocchi slathered in a creamy, herby sauce. The main dish is succulent slow-braised beef shin with potatoes, white beans, spinach and soft ciabatta bread. Vegetarians can choose savoury courgette and feta fritters with the same sides. For dessert, you’ll enjoy jam jar lemon and ginger cheesecake with passion fruit sauce. It’s tangy and sweet, and the perfect end to the meal.
