The Chinese zodiac follows a twelve year cycle, each of the years being named after an animal. The Chinese believe that people born in a particular year take on the characteristics of the animal associated with that year. 2011 is the year of the Rabbit, so, if you were born in 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, you are believed to carry affectionate and gentle qualities and have strong family ties. Rabbits are caring and hate c...onflict. Rabbits are peace-makers with lots of friends. Rabbits dislike being the centre of attention and enjoy the good things of life....
Weather you are a rabbit or not, come and feast on some Chinese New Year treats from the kitchen of 'Love a Locavore', ingredients of which will be sourced from no other than London's China Town.
Full menu to follow in due course but one thing you will be enjoying will be dumplings as legend has it that the more dumplings you eat during New Year celebration, more money you can make in the New Year. Plus the fact 'Love a Locavore' really really wants to learn how to make these little bundles of delight!
6 course chinese banquet will carry a suggested donation of £30
+ a suggested tip for the lovely waitress.
