Hi and Marhaba Everybody

Firstly thank you so much to all our guests who came to our Kyoto night.

Ahhh Marrakech  (Marrakesh) redolent of the swinging 60's and finding yourself in exotic places (of course of all you are far too young to remember that). More recently Morocco is a wonderful location for a holiday which we enjoyed immensely. Currently having a few problems, but in our experience a friendly, welcoming country with lovely kind people and of course wonderful food.

Please join us for a relaxed evening of "slow" tasty food where you will enjoy great company and conversation. After provisional bookings we have 8 places left.


As always we will be themeing, however no bongs I'm afraid (sorry) and again disappointingly we have no room for live camels.

If there are any dietary requirements please let us know. Particularly nut allergies as these will be difficult to avoid. Almonds and Pistachio are key  Moroccan ingredients.

Saturday 26th February - 19.30 to 23.30 in Basingstoke

All our dishes are made from scratch using fresh free range, organic ingredients

Please bring own wine (Even Berry Bros in Basingstoke don’t seem to stock a Moroccan wine even though Morocco is a great producer given it’s French Colonial past) We suggest light refreshing whites for the 1st course and dessert and deep spicy reds for the main.


No Corkage is charged and we will be serving Mint Tea throughout


Welcome Cocktail and Canapes

Please enjoy either a Negroni or a Neptune’s Kick Cocktail as a thank you for your support

Glazed Lamb Cutlets with carrot and tahini puree
Moroccan Spiced Chicken and/or Spiced Vegetables served in brik pastry with saffron aoli

Mini Vegetable skewers served with a saffron and mint yoghurt dip

First Course


A Mezze selection comprising

Mini Shish Kebabs marinated in Moroccan Spices, Laban dip, Aubergine with Feta Cheese,

Chicken Bisteeya, Carrot Salad with Orange and Cummin, Spinach Salad, Moroccan Flat Breads.

Tagine Course

3 Tagines will be delivered to each table


3 Bean            Chicken         Kid*


Served with: Spiced Aubergine & Potato Hash, Moroccan Vegetables and Jeweled Couscous.

A selection of Desserts

Honey Cinnamon Oranges, Moroccan Cake, Baklava

Followed By:

Moroccan Coffee with Moroccan Delight and Petit Fors


*Please note, although I have sourced Kid from an ethical producer I may serve tender goat.
