Since I last blogged we have reached the final 10 in the Best Producer category of the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards – nominated by you, so thank you very much. We are very grateful to the exposure and heartening to learn that the little guy can make a difference.
It’s nearly time for all things festive. Time to meet up with friends and have fun! My December supper clubs on the 8th and 15th are almost sold out but at the time of writing there is still availability. My supper club is the antidote to disappointing restaurant food, no turning tables, no overpriced wine lists, no dull food that you could cook better at home, no stuffy dining room where you can only chat in hushed tones. The December menu features a taste of an Italian Christmas and seasonal delights from the Warwickshire countryside. Tickets are £35.00 per person for 6 courses and of course you bring your own wine (we do suggest wine pairings just before the supper club so you can get some extra special offers and compliment the menu).

Artisan basil pesto, black olive and rosemary bread served with extra virgin ollive oil and Puglian nocellara olives
Antipasti mista, salumi, proscuitto
Primi of cotechino ravioli with sage butter
Secondi of roast Denbigh Estate (where we live) partridge, Squisito smoked pancetta, Casteluccio lentils and celeriac puree
Formaggi of direct import from Italy cheese board, featuring hard to find IGT and DOP cheeses served with pink peppercorns and Warwickshire honey
Dolci of panetone semi freddo with caramelised oranges
Caffe from our vintage Italian Electra coffee machine with our 100% Arabica coffee and homemade double chocolate biscotti
