KerstinsKitchen ventures into foraging for April's Shropshire Secret Supper Club, exploring the beautiful countryside around Colemore Farm, our host for the event, originating back to the fifteenth Century as a medieval manor house. Sitting deep in the Shropshire countryside the farm is surrounded by woodlands, meadows by the River Severn.
There will be a guided walk with the "Lord of the Manor" Richard and myself Kerstin to find our lunch. We will be foraging for wild garlic, edible herbs and learn about medicinal plants on the way.
After about 1 1/2 hours walk we will return to the farm where we will cook & eat lunch with the spoils.
There will be plenty of time to question Richard and Kerstin about wild food, herbal remedies and the history of the farm and surroundings.
You will take a jar of wild garlic pesto plus the list of recipes used for lunch home for inspiration.
Introductory prices* include a
