The spring menu destined for May will now, be served at the next Supper Club on 30th June!. A testament to the irrational weather, Summer has not yet made its entrance and we are still experiencing shower filled days and the chilly evenings of Spring.
The Raspberry team and kitchen have been such busy bees, June being the favoured month of romance & weddings, our Vintage China and Afternoon Teas are setting the stage for the romantic atmosphere and our canapes especially the welsh cakes and tart lets are in demand. Up until the 30th June I will be busy with private events, maybe Summer will make its entrance by then.

The Italian Welsh menu for June is one of my most favourites and similar to the first Supper Club menu from a year ago!. Nervously I started the Raspberry Club with an big drive to promote local seasonal food , but with a niggly concern that maybe Cwmbran wouldn't embrace the Supper Club concept. The first evening was a big hit and the anxiety was lifted, encouraged that local people wanted local food, hearty home cooked food eaten supper style in a relaxed un pretentious style.
Friendships have grown , even a little romance blossomed, interesting characters an eclatic mix and always new people to meet. To date we have held the Suppers at The Bush Inn and not ventured further because the atmosphere of this traditional old Inn is relaxing informal and lovably quirky..
If you want to experience a different dining experience an evening of hearty seasoanl home cooked food, all my own recipes using seasonal local produce, have a look at the menu and come along and enjoy real food cooked from scratch.
