Are you looking for an autumn treat for yourself or friends? Do you like the idea of an afternoon in the country, but only a hop, skip and a jump from Manchester?
Our very special tea party will take place in a delightful mid-20th century Cheshire village hall. Bring your friends or meet new ones who share your love of a good tea!
Eat your fill of our delicious traditional afternoon tea of dainty finger sandwiches, savoury tarts, light-as-air scones and thick slices of heavenly cake while sipping the best quality teas from vintage china tea cups.
Indulge your passion for vintage clothing and accessories courtesy of the pop-up Vintage Boutique Bowdon and The Past Perfect, make your home as fabulous as you are with vintage and retro home wares from Oooh Betty! and take home one of Ivy Bell's Artisan Baking Kits to make tea-time at home special too.
Doors will open at 1pm for a welcoming drink and a chance to browse and afternoon tea will be served on vintage china from
2 – 4.30pm.
Why not make a day of it? Bring your wellies, leave your car in our paddock any time after 11am and we'll give you a free walking map of the area. As well as the pretty village itself (which comes complete with its own micro-brewery!), you can spot a roe buck in the nearby deer park or stroll along the tow path of the country's oldest canal.
Tickets costs £22.50 and can be paid by cheque or electronic bank transfer. Email
info@thechinasyndrome.co.uk to book your place/s now...tickets are already selling fast and we have limited places especially for large groups.
This event is presented with pleasure by secret tea room Vintage Afternoon Teas and The China Syndrome vintage crockery hire.
