On Saturday 26th June we celebrated The Last Supper in an intimate dinner party at St Nicholas Church Hall.
Guests enjoyed meeting each other, and we even had an impromptu wine tasting from two very special guests who really know their wine! All in all it was a wonderful evening and we'd like to thank everyone who attended.
The evening was made even more special by the music played, and guests enjoyed a performance of a The Last Supper inspired piece of music. Eme Narc, a student, soon to be world famous artist, composed a piece a music inspired by The Last Supper. By divine intervention I met his Arts Award Advisor a few days before the event and we chatted, and bizarrely I found out about the music. I was so impressed when I listened to it I knew it had to be played at the event.
For those who weren't at the event Eme has kindly let me upload the music on the site, together with some notes, which should be read whilst listening to the piece. So please, have a go, listen to the piece and see what you think. Eme would love some feedback, so please do email him, I know he'll welcome your comments.
Thanks Eme & Helen!
