Ars kitchen is a project by the artist IABO that echoes the gastronomic trend of the “supper club”, private home restaurant that have spread all over the world in recent years. IABO’s experiment is to merge art and food to make his works accessible in an innovative way and in a context quite different from the traditional museums and art-galleries; it is an excursus through food and “social eating” during which guests have the opportunity to learn more about his work. His home/studio located in Capodi- monte - central Naples - offers a beautiful view over the city and has been turned into an “RistorArt” where special dishes are offered to the guests: the recipes, inspired by the traditional Neapolitan and Italian cuisine, are invented by the artist himself. The specialty themed menus consist of aperitif, appetizer, first course, second course and dessert. A couple of examples: “Lemon Flava” is a menu consisting of dishes whose main ingredient is the lemon; “Al diavolo il pomodoro” is a menu that offers strictly spicy dishes. The kitchen is, in fact, equipped with webcams connected to “Ars Kitchen” official site where guests will appear on live streaming. “Ars Kitchen” can accommoda- te from 2 to a maximum of 6 people and is accessed by reservation only.
