In a few sentences tell us something about yourself

In 1999 I left south africa for a years work stint in the uk. I am still here, however I did take a year off work to travel the world and loved it.The villages and local markets that sold awesome wholesome food. I loved sitting on a bench with the locals, tasting the local delicacies and watching the village come alive.

My mum is a full time chef in south Africa and from a young age we learnt about food preparation.

When I am not working as a security manager at gatwick airport I volunteer for a charity called Impact based in haywards Heath. We are involved in the local community by teaching parents to cook on a budget and taster sessions in schools introducing children to different produce.

Since November, impact charity and the princes trust have run their first week long course of cook school with an opportunity to complete the
Food and hygiene test certificate.

I love tasting other people's cooking and get inspiration from others passion towards food!
