In a few sentences tell us something about yourself: Welcome to l’ortodisilvia! The first Supper club of Sicily. Our Dining Club is a gem of unstuffy and welcoming hospitality. Our country house is open to diners and offers a friendly and intimate ambience. We would be pleased to welcome you into our softly-lit dining room, our tables fragrant with wild flowers or roses from our garden. Weather permitting, you can choose to dine by candlelight in our garden, beneath our ancient carob trees.
We are confident that you will find that l’ortodisilvia supper club is a small oasis of wellbeing, where you will enjoy simple but excellent, local, seasonal fresh produce. Our recipes have been in our families for very many years and range from those using unusual or refined produce down to those using daily produce from our local farmers - simple, unadulterated, fresh, healthy and delicious.

We have revived a number of ancient recipes –this is something of a passion for us and we have tried and adjusted these to get the best out of the riches which surround us, including produce from our garden and the abundant wild growth in the surrounding fields.

What we cannot produce ourselves, we obtain from a small group of trusted producers all of whom are personally known to us – our fish comes from Donnalucata, our pork from the famous black pigs of Nebrodi, onions from Giarratana, Pecorino cheese from the slopes of Iblea, cured meats from Chiaramonte, handmade chocolate from Modica, apples from Mount Etna, late season peaches from Leonforte, oranges from Francofonte……the list is endless.
