I am a qualified civil engineer but a passionate and devoted Indian chef, food writer and all round enthusiast. I won BBC2′s Step Up To The Plate in 2008, appeared on ITV’s Britain’s Best Dish and has even played host to the Hairy Bikers. Having grown up with authentic Indian food, I love cooking simple, traditional dishes and applies my own contemporary twists.I run my cookery classes various cookery schools at Cambridge, Braxted, Ramsden Heath.
Classes are always a hit as the dishes we cook have authentic touch to it and very hands on. My classes are always sold out and clientele absolutely love tasting n cooking through out the day.
My classes start off with introduction to spices and a brief culinary history lesson and plenty of hands-on cookery with wine, recipes and an ‘elaborate dinner’ included.
Learning Indian Cooking by an Indian Chef is the BEST way to learn as I take the clients into the world of Indians and mesmerise them with lovely stories about how Indian Food evolved .
