I was looking to create a menu of real indulgence.  A February Sunday afternoon calls for rich, tasty, delicate sweets and cakes.

Inspired by my favourite French afternoon treats combined with the English tradition should make a perfect afternoon. 

I can't wait for the event, the Christmas tea party back in November was fabulous, can't wait to meet the next group of tea party lovers!

We are very excited about our upcoming tea party on the 19th November at Alice's Tea Garden HQ.  This is the first hosted here... hopefully the first of many to come.

This pink velvet cake is a subtle colour - not as pink as expected but tastes amazing.  This cake is for Alice's Tea Garden's special tea guests this afternoon.  It is filled with and covered in a Marscapone Cream Cheese Frosting.
