A successful launch and £240 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support!!!!
This website has been a fantastic source of information, experiences and advice and, with that in mind I took the leap of faith and launched my first event on Saturday March 9th.
I am delighted to announce that the evening was a huge success (I even received a round of applause from the 16 satisfied diners which I was very grateful for!)
Given the Arctic conditions outside I created a varied yet warming menu and asked for a minimum donation of £20 for 3 courses. I am please to say we raised £240 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
I'm planning the next one for next month and am already getting bookings and interest.
