NB All above event prices include water & tea/coffee. Other soft drinks are available to purchase. The Fat Carrot is not licenced to serve alcohol but guests are welcome to bring their own to events.

Please be aware The Fat Carrot, East Peckham supper venue is up one flight of stairs.

STOP PRESS!

Shipbourne Farmers Market has once again been the subject of media attention. It was recently visited by Country Homes & Interiors magazine. The Fat Carrot stall was photographed and the photographer seemed very taken with our vegan Lemon Cakes. In fact she bought several after she had taken their picture. If the pictures make it to the magazine we will let you know.

Latest Recipes...

Pumpkin season! Yes for those who love The Fat Carrot’s Pumpkin pie (vegetarian) it will be back on the menu for October. You can pick one up at the Farmers Markets (subject to availability), reserve one by e-mailing us or book tickets to one of our Spooky Suppers Friday 26^th & Sunday 28^th October where it will be our Halloween  themed dessert.

Welcome

The Fat Carrot welcomes Zach our new apprentice. He has a year’s training at K College and is a promising young chef. He has yet to earn a Carrot nickname e.g. Jane ‘The Fat Carrot’, Marylin ‘Mummy Carrot,’ and Kate ‘Baby Carrot'. Would also add that Moondust Whitlegg one of our Fat Carrot facebook fans lists their place of work as The Fat Carrot but we strongly suspect he is a rabbit and that is just wishful thinking on his part...PS Moondust the position of official mascot is already filled by Tolkien the rabbit –Sorry.

Ho Ho Ho

Very excited about Christmas! We will be making a range of (Vegan) gifts such as Gingerbread Christmas Trees. The Farmers Market menus will have a festive twist with Christmas Crumble & Festive Carrot Cakes (vegan). If you want to book a meal at The Fat Carrot Secret Supper venue for friends, family, a group or workplace please e-mail for availability or give us a call.

Recommendations

We have been using some of the recipes from Vegetarian Living Magazine lately. We also like their column by Karin Ridgers who is the founder of VeggieVision TV http://veggievision.tv/ This is a great monthly publication and well worth getting. www.vegetarianliving.co.uk
