I mentioned our group on Woman's Hour. This brought in hundreds of new members.
Visit London blog has also mentioned this group...for Olympic dates which I'm sure you will all be thinking about for next year. A fantastic opportunity to show off the best of British home cooking to visitors, welcome them into our homes, make new friends and hopefully some profit!
Maille Dijon Mustard, an ingredient I really like and use all the time, are sponsoring this group from July for three months. There will be a survey of supper clubs, with great prizes for those who answer the form (which will be a useful resource for us anyway as the survey is about supper clubs). There will also be competitions for guests and hosts.
I will let you all know more soon.
Remember this Saturday is the first "how to start and run a successful supper club" conference at The Underground Restaurant. Still places left. If you are serious about starting a supper club, tea room or even a small food business, please come. I'm not sure when the next will be. http://www.wegottickets.com/event/108906 this will include 5 talks/workshops, breakfast, lunch and drinks. This conference is the perfect adjunct to my book Supper Club: recipes and notes from The Underground Restaurant.
Please keep spreading the word about this site. Put the badge on your blog. The more we stick together, the more we become a force to be reckoned with. Spread the lurve!
