Christmas Clarkies.
Due to the Saturday night filling before we had even announced the menu we have decided to offer Friday Night as an extra.

Beginnings
Parsnip & Ginger Soup (V)
Fresh seasonal sweet parsnips with a kick of ginger & a hint of cream. Served with crumbled roast chestnut garnish.
Scallops & Shallots
Pan seared scallops with a sweet shallot puree, placed on confit potatoes with parsley and caper dressing.
Clarkies Farmhouse Pate
An individual pot of homemade butter topped, farmhouse Chicken Pate. Served with toasted home-made bread.
Mains
Clarkies Christmas Dinner
Turkey breast roasted with lemon & thyme, thickly sliced with home-made pork, lemon and thyme stuffing and roasted chestnuts. Pigs in Blankets, Devils on Horseback & rich turkey gravy. Of course there will be our famous cranberry sauce!
Tenderloin of Pork
Oven roasted tenderloin of pork, stuffed with date and thyme stuffing, wrapped in bacon, served with a rich pork and red wine sauce.
Steak, Guinness and smoked Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese Pie
Individual pies of chunky steak slow cooked in Guinness with rich field mushrooms and onions with the addition of smoked Lincolnshire Poacher cheese topped with a golden puff pastry lid.

Honey roasted parsnips
Buttered brussel sprouts, carrots and chestnuts
Desserts
Frozen Grand Marnier Soufflé
A delicious light frozen soufflé, flavoured with Grand Marnier, served with a glass of the same luxurious liqueur.
Clarkies Christmas Pud
An individual Christmas pudding stuffed with dried fruits that have been soaked in brandy. A true Christmas tradition served with dollops of double cream.
Triple Chocolate Christmas
A rich gooey chocolate brownie, stuffed with Macadamia nuts & sour cherries, served with a dollop of chocolate cream on a bed of rich bitter chocolate sauce.
