About Us
The Cuckoo Kitchen was started by six friends who like the idea of raising money for charity, and are very unlikely to ever run a half-marathon. Instead, playing to their strengths, they decided to launch a restaurant where the proceeds from each evening are donated to a local charitable cause.
About this season's charity:
Street Doctors is a charity registered in the UK. We change the lives of high risk young people by giving them the skills they need to deliver life-saving first aid. But as well as saving lives we use first aid as a tool to educate and empower these young people, giving them confidence and a sense of responsibility for their actions, helping to change their attitude towards violence.
