*Insalata Caprese - buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes on a bed of rocket salad, capers, basil, oregano and drizzled with cold pressed olive oil

*Zuppa di pomodoro - tomato soup with morsels of smoked bacon, refined with freshly chopped oregano and sherry

*Ossobuco alla milanese - veal shanks and finely chopped onions, garlic, tomatoes, carrots and celeriac; slowly braised in a white wine broth and flavoured with Italian herbs.

*Tirami su - Savoaiardi biscuits dipped in espresso and amaretto liquor, covered with a sweet mixture of whipped egg and mascarpone, sprinkled with cocoa

*Espresso or coffee with cantucci al miele
