What do you think when you think of Yorkshire? It's not just puddings ... I think of fine traditional keg ales, spring lamb from the dales, blush pink forced rhubarb, a slice of fruit cake and sliver of Wensleydale cheese with finest Yorkshire tea ... a steaming cup with a rich deep colour that reflects the brew I began with. If Barnsley is associated with chops and Bradford has the finest collection of spices this side Bollywood the options are vast. There is much to admire and look forward to in the treats of Yorkshire and as we decide what to feature for our next supper do book a place for the journey North with us.
