First try at red bell peppers on the balcony in Brighton - also grew lots of herbs, strawberries, chillies and heaps of different varieties of tomatoes. Summer 2009, Brighton.

Thanks Mia, yeah this year's growing season went really well. I just took all the chillies still outside off a couple of days ago, as I am worried they will rot. Still have about fifty small ones in the fridge. Need to make space to bring the chilli plants inside, as they need to be in +15 degrees, as I heard last Sunday on Radio 4's 'Gardeners' Question Time'. Not sure where they will go! Wish I had a proper garden too, but this will have to suffice for now. Love Ferretneck

Cool, I failed with my peppers but my chili's are still going strong even now. They are on the window, we are on the 7th floor so they get all the light the houses wd usually block out. I don't have a garden anymore and I miss it terribly.
