I am Mrs. Margaret Miller, an aging widow suffering from long time illness (Esophageal Cancer). I have some important information (charity proposal) for you, May God continue to bless you, Please reply (margaretmargaretmiller@gmail.com) for more details.
So, next Saturday (14th November) is our grand opening launch night. OK, well it's more like an informal pilot evening to work out if/how I can run this more regularly, so please come along and make it a success.
You need to contact me via facebook to reserve your place, even if you have already told me informally that you're coming, unless you are Eileen (our lovely dessert and more chef for the evening) or Jennie (our photographer, but don't let that put the rest of you off coming, we won't force you to be in any photos!) There are only 15 more places, so reserve early.
Please include your name and email address in your reservation, so that nearer the time we can send you details for the location. But if you're planning transport for the evening, we are in SW20 and easily reached from Raynes Park, Wimbledon Chase or Wimbledon stations. Please arrive around 7:30 pm.
We'll be asking for donations on the night - suggested minimum donation is £25 (or £15 for students/unemployed/retired people). The money goes first to make sure we can buy lots of tasty food for you all, and any left over after covering our costs will go to a good cause. The plan is to support small, relatively unknown charitable projects which are doing life-changing work "on the ground" around the world, so check back here for details during the week.
Because we're asking for donations on the night and not payment beforehand, if you book, we're counting on you being there. If you can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible so someone else can have your place.
That's about all for now. Watch this space for the menu, which is coming soon. But expect a lovely roast duck red Thai curry, and maybe a coconut and lemongrass panna cotta to features somewhere...
And sorry, but as Thai food uses lots of sauces and other ingredients derived from fish, we cannot cater for strict vegetarians this time.
