I do enjoy a glass of Gin & Tonic now & again especially on one of those sunny lazy days in the garden when the bees are buzzing, birds tweeting, chickens pecking & all is right with the world....Any gin would do until I tasted the wonderfully odd world of Hendricks.

As usual I was lured by the fancy bottle & packaging, an absolute sucker for these but the gin definitely lived up to its claims...losing the traditional slice of lemon & replacing it with a slice of cucumber made a delicious change.



I can also heartily recommend this wonderfully eccentric cocktail, the 'English Garden'

A shot of Hendricks Gin

A splash of Elderflower cordial

A top up with sparkling apple juice

All perfectly mixed with ice, mint & of course a slice of cucumber..
