Summer News
Roquefort cheesecake with roasted tomato and basil oil - tomatos, lettuce and basil from the garden, eggs from our chickens and cream from the dairy across the valley.
The summer has been very kind to us. The veg patch is producing fantastic ingredients (even if we have had to water ever day during the dry spell.) This week we are enjoying some well needed rain.
I brought a wonderful selection of recipes back with me from India so I am happy to either prepare a Curry Night or the more formal 4 course dinner. We have a new awning and patio heater so if you would like the al fresco experience we can cater for that too.
Apart from when we were away in India the restaurant has been full every Friday, so thank you to all those wonderful supporters and the fact that you all keep coming back is heartwarming!

Nick has been bringing in about 20 crayfish a day from our nets down on the Cherwell and I have had fun coming up with uses for them every day - it's amazing what you can do with some crayfish. So far we have had some Crayfish and rocket .
