Summer is in the air and it’s high time to have a feast and celebrate! Homegrown veg, edible flowers and foraged foods are all on the Tooting-inspired menu for our supper club on Fri 13th June. You’ll be eating on one long, candle-lit, communal table at Em and Phil’s home about 10 mins walk from Tooting Broadway. On arrival…
elderflower champagne cocktail (with elderflowers from Tooting Common, with or without alcohol)
spicy pickled vegetables
homemade hummus topped with roasted cumin seeds
Tooting nettles, roasted garlic and lemon dip
selection of handmade and locally sourced breads
Tooting Tapas…
homegrown lavender and miso falafel
carrot, lime, sesame and homegrown coriander salad
sizzling Portuguese chorizo black pudding and stew
rasta vegan patties
Jamaican jerk meatballs with zesty orange
bombay patatas bravas
homegrown borage salad
For pudding…
Tooting Common elderflower panna cotta with homegrown lavender shortbread
Teas (Fresh mint, English breakfast and chai) & Ethiopian coffee
Iced water with lemon, lime, mint and cucumber is served throughout the feast
£19 / person (including your drink on arrival) Please BYO drinks (or ask about ordering wine from a local Tooting wine cellar or By The Horns Tooting beer in advance).
Arrival drinks will be served from 7:30, and the Tapas will be rolling out from about 8.
