Black Pig & White Pearls is a new Spanish Pop Up Restaurant (http://blackpigwithwhitepearls.moonfruit.com/) situated in different and interesting cool venues around East London once a month. The launch will take place on the 22nd October 2011 at St Marks Church Hall, St Mark’s Rise Dalston E8 2NL, from 7-11pm.
The coming event is being held in a Grade 2 listed church hall from 1877, with old wooden flooring, high wooden beams and stain glass windows perfect for that pre Halloween dinner party!!
The evening consists of 4 delicious courses of traditional Spanish cuisine & complimentary Sangria for £35 and you bring your own alcohol. DJ Amelia Jantze will also be on the decks to compliment the evening with his mix of electro tech & Spanish flamenco beats, to get you eating,socializing and dancing the night away!
Also Alex Sheperd (http://www.alex-shepherd.co.uk/Home.html) an art graduate from St Martins will be displaying some pieces of his very amazing and interesting work.
Head chef David Mulero is from Extremadura in the South of Spain and has grown up with quality Spanish cuisine all of his life, which Extremadura is famous for.
His great passion and experience comes from many years working as a chef using old family recipes that have been passed through generations and been taught to him by his mother and grandmother.
After hosting many dinner parties for his friends, David and his partner Melvin who has many years of working in the events & entertainment industry, decided that it was time to start their own Pop Up so that others can experience the opportunity to taste the mouth-watering secrets of some old Mulero traditional family recipes with his own modern twist.
