February is the month of love and romance so to celebrate this we will be turning to our neighbours across the sea for inspiration. They say French is the language of love and this afternoon tea will be a love affair with all things French!

Cafe Nouveau will open its doors at 2pm on Saturday 26 February serving the following menu:

A false Kir

A selection of freshly made sandwiches including tuna niçoise, paté on pain de campagne, chicken mayo crêpe wrap, mini croque monsieur

Onion tart

A selection on mini cakes including ‘Paris Brest’ (choux pastry rings), hazelnut macarons and madeleines

Sultana scones with jam and clotted cream

Holmfirth Tea and Cooper’s Coffee
