A dinner to celebrate the lighter evenings, the warmer weather and the arrival of spring. We will be using strictly local produce and celebrating traditional British food....maybe my own twist on traditional recipes..
Menu for Saturday:
Mini crab / fish cakes, baked asparagus and seedling salad
Welsh black beef and wild mushroom pie (or an alternative for veggies and mushroom haters), creamed potatos and leeks, purple sprouting broccoli
Rhubard and cointreau cranachan, or local icecream, rhubarb and orange compote
Local cheeses, crackers and coffee
