So the question is what season are we in? By now I thought the Secret Sunday Lunch Club would be moving on to rotisserie Roast Chicken on the barbecue, but alas it looks like this will have to wait at least another month.  Therefore in the meantime Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding it is.

The Secret Sunday Lunch Club hosts proper Sunday Roasts for up to 10 diners around one big table.

Your afternoon kicks off with a nibble and a tipple or two getting to know your fellow Lunch Clubbers.  Weather permitting, this can be enjoyed on the large balcony overlooking the rooftops of Notting Hill or indoors by the cosy fire.  You’ll then take your place around the table to enjoy a good old-fashioned Sunday roast.  We’ll carve at the table and you’ll be encouraged to help yourself to an array of vegetables, all the trimmings and plenty of rich gravy – and if you fancy seconds don’t be shy, there will be ample to go around!  But do remember to save room for a traditional pudding which will invariably involve homemade ice-cream or custard, or both.  For those with a savoury tooth, cheese is on the menu too and finally, you’ll finish off with a selection of fresh teas or coffee and homemade macaroons.

Expect to go home full, smiling, relaxed and maybe with a few more friends than when you arrived.
