In a few sentences tell us something about yourself: British by chance, Pakistani by migration and Indian by birth, I am an artist, a passionate cook and a keen gardener growing my own veg and herbs. My art practice includes film, live art, photography, digital technologies and food.I have cooked with some groovy chefs in Italy, London, Melbourne, Chicago and Singapore. My journeys and cultural displacement allow me to locate commonalities and differences by creating projects/events that connect and welcome.

Having hosted several food gatherings that developed from instagram (@sharefood4ever) postings, I am stepping up and starting a supper club Casa Ali ~ Love and more love. Why the name? well food has to be cooked with love and my cooking comes from the heart! Be prepared to dine at my home with an interesting mix of people, unusual combinations and finger licking goodness.

Where did you hear about this site?: Through a friend who set up Khana Commune in Singapore... she attended my food performance at National Museum Singapore, invited me over to sample her cooking and I was a guest at her sister's Khana Commune in London.

I hope you're well. My name is Bex and I'm currently working as an Assistant Producer on a brand new television series for ITV called 'Culinary Genius' made by Gordon Ramsay's production company Studio Ramsay.

We are looking for amateur cooks who are passionate about cooking to apply to be on the show. There is a cash prize up for grabs, and the chance to be judged by Gordon and other top celebrity chefs! Do you think this is something which may appeal to you?
