Thanks to all the wonderful guests who created much laughter and merriment at our Scratch double-barrel feature weekend. Esp those lovely lassies who brought flowers or chocolates (!*^&*^? and paid their bill!) and those who broke into spon

taneous applause before a morsel of food had touched their lips. (yes, I agree, an easy, yet thoroughly charming crowd). 

And here's a shot of the 'work-in-progress' of one of the most popular dishes of the night. The 'Masterstock' for the Chinese Braised Beef. It has a mere 17 ingredients.
