Hello and welcome to the April edition of the newsletter. March was busy and we started one of the newer Farmers Markets in Lamberhurst and will be back there in April.

2014 Supper Club Dates

Tickets are on sale for our next pop-up events at Tastebuds café, Offham. They can be bought on –line via the web page www.thefatcarrot.co.uk or at our facebook page in the ticket section. Please note the ticket company do charge an admin fee. Alternatively e-mail [e-mail] for further details or other payment options. Hope you can join us for these taste extravaganzas! 20% of the ticket price will be going to Spadework Charity.

Versatile Vegetables Buffet

Saturday 31^st May 7.30pm

A two course hot and cold buffet meal using vegetables and fruits in a selection of interesting dishes. £28.00 per person.

Mediterranean Night

Saturday 21^st June 7.30pm

Five course meal inspired by Mediterranean flavours. £35.00 per person.

Love Cheese Night

Saturday 20^th September 7.30pm

A four course cheese-themed meal with local cheese tasting as the final course. £28.00 per person.

Product News

Exciting news we are launching a range of products made with carrots. These have been commissioned to be made by the award winning Kentish company Kent Fine Foods. The first two to be available will be a Curried Carrot Chutney and an Orange & Carrot Marmalade with Whisky.

Scoff Quaff Radio

I will be a guest on Kent’s food radio show on Tuesday 8^th April. The great local show airs live on Channel radio (internet) 11-12. If you can’t listen live there is also a ‘listen again’ function. The show will be a vegetarian/ vegan special and this show is sponsored by Tonbridge Farmers Market.
