We are holding our fourth night of food and friends in our home. After the success of our previous evenings we are so excited to be repeating it…... again!
It’s October, the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness and Autumn is on it’s way so why not come and join us for an evening of good food, great company and laughter.
Libby and Sarah have carefully thought out the menu and will once again be cooking delicious food and feeding you.

Using fresh seasonal and wherever possible locally sourced quality food to serve you a delicious menu that we hope will have you coming back again and again. Libby and daughter Sarah are the cooks, with Bob as the gopher; well we had to give him something to do!
If you are Vegetarian or have food allergies please let us know we can accommodate most needs.

We have looked carefully and decided that we can seat 16 people maximum in comfort in our home without squashing you all in too much.
The minimum donation on the night will be £20.
Please feel free to bring your own wine / drinks, Bob is very good at opening the bottles for you, no corkage fees of course.

Take a look at our menu and if you like what you read book it quickly cos it will be first come first served for places.
Please make sure you send me a contact number and the names and how many people you are booking for.
I will send back a confirmation email to let you know that we still have space for you and with it the final address that you are coming to.

Beginnings

Autumn Tart

Rich shortcrust pastry case filled with oven roasted butternut squash and sweet potato smothered with Extra Mature Cheddar, served hot. With a crispy side salad.

Beetroot Risotto

Roasted beetroot, mellow white Leicester cheese and creamy Arborio rice, just a hint of thyme and then extra shavings of cheese.

Jack Daniels Chicken and Cornbread

Tender Chicken thighs slow cooked in a rich Jack Daniels marinade till they fall off the bone, served on a potato rosti and a side order of cornbread.

Friar Tucks Beef n Ale Cobbler

Chunks of local beef slow cooked in Alcazars Friar Tucks Stout with shallots and meaty field mushrooms. Topped with rich cheesy golden cobbles.
Please note this can also be served with a glass of Friar Tucks Stout if required.

Sage Butter Chicken

Free-range chicken supreme with butter and sage tucked under the skin, oven roasted to golden and served with traditional sage and onion stuffing and a rich chicken gravy.


Fishermans Pie

Moist flakes of Cod, Salmon , naturally smoked Haddock and King Prawns all blended in a creamy sauce topped with smooth mashed potato baked in individual dishes until golden brown.

Pecan Pie with Cinnamon Crust

Crisp cinnamon pastry surrounds a rich yummy filling topped with delicious pecans, served with a large dollop of fresh cream

Apple and Blackberry Crumble

Lets keep it simple, Brambley apples and organic blackberries from our own garden topped with crumbly oat crumble. Served with lashing of home made custard

Chocolate Lovers Heaven

A slice of moist rich chocolate tart, even the pastry is chocolate, topped with triple chocolate shavings. A side of candied fennel root and a cup of hot chocolate to finish your meal in style
