A winter-warming menu for our next event. The steak pie* is my take on Heston's take on a great British classic (I leave out the kidney and substitute puff pastry for suet). Judged by the family taste-test panel to be 'absolutely delicious'!
Menu:
~ Beetroot and red lentil soup with coriander and lemon, spicy corn muffins
~ Oxtail steak pie*, wild mushrooms, pea and canellini purée, roasted squash
~ Orange and ginger pudding, rhubarb in rosewater syrup, rhubarb crumble ice
cream
~ Coffee/tea, chocolate passion fruit truffles
