Sunday afternoons are made for crafty afternoon teas. Spend an hour or so under the expert guidance of Jo Johnston of French Knots Craft Studio http://www.frenchknots.co.uk/ making a brooch from a selection of her vintage fabrics and buttons, followed by a delicious afternoon tea, all served on vintage china and tablelinens at a picture-perfect table.
You can expect finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and preserves, and a selection of homebaked tea time cakes and fancies, all served with lashings of leaf tea (or freshly brewed coffee for those who prefer). Not to mention a sociable atmosphere and a warm welcome.
Location is my home, an eighteenth century former farmhouse on the South Manchester/Cheshire border. Near Altrincham. Full details will be issued the day before to those attending.
To book a place, please email gwynbrock@sky.com with name/s of those attending and a mobile phone number.
Donation of £20 in advance will cover all materials and the afternoon tea. You will be able to take your creation home with you!
