Here is the menu for the Sunday Roast event. My first event! I have opted for quite a traditional menu, let's face it no one wants their Sunday lunch to be fancied up too much.
It's been very interesting talking to suppliers and finding out the breadth and quality of produce available locally. The beef will be from Hugh Grierson's Organic farm, most (if not all) of the vegetables will come from Phantassie in East Lothian and the fish from Welch's Fishmongers. The man of the house will have his baker's hat on and will be producing the walnut bread and shortbread biscuits. I will be doing the rest of the work; fingers crossed that all of those years providing Christmas dinners and Sunday lunches for family and friends will stand me in good stead.
I do hope those of you coming along will enjoy, and I hope those of you not coming will get a taste for future events.
