- Foodie mother of three, afternoon tea addict and avid supporter of supporting local small food producers.
I spend my time dwindling in charity shops looking for vintage crockery, trying not to dribble at cheese counters and working out scrumptious combinations to use in scone recipes.
My food is a delightful mix of quintessential British fare made with a few quirks and eccentricities. You may find a few French influences and a slight kick from South America from time to time as I experiment on a regular basis to find recipes that work well.
I'm never satisfied unless a dish I create is likely to linger in your memory not just for being 'nice' but for making you long for more. If I achieve this then my work is done.

Cancellation

I have very sadly had to cancel my Afternoon Tea on 11th August. After an initial lot of interest locally, nobody actually booked.
Devon seems to lack secret foodies in general. There is only one other genuine (i.e not a restaurant), club in Devon and it is right near the city of Exeter.
I had lots of lovely tweets and interest but everyone too far away. Locally there are teashops on almost every street corner at less than the £10 I was charging but offering…
