I was looking to create a menu of real indulgence. A February Sunday afternoon calls for rich, tasty, delicate sweets and cakes.
Inspired by my favourite French afternoon treats combined with the English tradition should make a perfect afternoon.
I can't wait for the event, the Christmas tea party back in November was fabulous, can't wait to meet the next group of tea party lovers!

This was our last event of 2011 and we had 20 guests, technically 2 more than capacity.
It went very well with as usual rave reviews and guests staying until way past midnight.
Every dish was well recived and have had requests for several recipes including Kerala Lamb which I really must send out soon.
The move from choices at each course to just catering for dietary requirements has made a big difference and means a much more relaxed feeling in the kitchen.
