"A complete triumph! R x"
"Hi Jules,
What an absolutely brilliant and entertaining night - everything was excellent! I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
Looking forward to joining you again soon!"
Hi Jules
we all wanted to say a huge thank you for such a lovely evening, the food was exceptional and we all agreed, of the highest restaurant standard.
It was great for us as a group of friends to have the whole evening just to…

It's my son's birthday at the weekend and we are having a family get together which means 17 for lunch. I'm busy preparing the following:
Beef carpaccio
Crab and ginger tarts
plum salad (a great old recipe from my Constance Spry book)
Potato salad
Southern friend chicken
...and a giant lasagna for when we return from ice skating!

So I have heard of quiz nights and underground supper clubs but we at the Hungry Poets society would like to introduce you to the medium of poetry. You not only get a paying guest but poetry from those who perform on the London Poetry scene.

Great day today, we all overslept so hubby decided he'd drive the kids to school which left me free to play in the kitchen.
Just made roasted tomato soup with toms from the greenhouse and some focaccia for dinner tonight. Our friend in London has managed to pick up some samphire (the last of the season) from Billingsgate so tomorrow we'll have sea bream with samphire with a beurre blanc.
Last job will be to make Nick's favorite blackberry vodka - probably 10 bottles to see…

I've put an announcement on my facebook group and sent out an email to my mailing list. I hope others can do the same.
I'm giving a talk at Covent garden market this Thursday at 6.30 at The Hub in the piazza about how to set up your own underground restaurant. Feel free to attend.
There will be G & T's.
I'm also doing a stall that day as part of The London Restaurant Festival.
Thanks MsML

I love the idea of the underground supperclubs but I am hooked on another social site called eatwithalocal.com as this site connects travellers with local people willing to cook for them free all over the world. Imagine the insight you would gain by sitting down enjoying a home cooked meal with a local family in a different country or even a different part of the UK.
Hopefully, it will change the way we dine abroad forever.

This is a place to invite your 'fans'.
A central location to discover your local supperclub. Or maybe you are taking a trip and you want to eat in the home of a local...find out here...
At the moment all the different supperclubs have different fan groups on Facebook. This is hopefully a one stop place to find out about all of them...dates, meals, themes, special events...where to book, how to contact them and any other info
For those that are nervous about going on their own,…
