We're celebrating the divine diversity of Middle Eastern food this week. We'll be having seven courses including beef meatballs with broad beans & lemon, poached pears in white wine & cardamon.
We've been drawing influences from the foreign students who have been staying with us, who have come form Bahrain and Georgia. We've been reading 'Jerusalem' by Yotam Ottolenghi, amd watched his recent TV series. We're liking the big salads, the grilled meats, the aubergines,…

I have recently been contacted by a fourth year Business student at the University of Glasgow who is conducting research into the Pop Up Dining experience. If you wish to take part, here is the link to the survey. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SPH887M

I'm not a big fan of chocolate but Tiffany made one of the best puddings I've ever had: Mexican chocolate cake with Mexican cinnamon icecream. So…

I've always loved Cornishware, classically in blue and white stripes. Nowadays TG Green do lots of other colours ranging from pillar box red to subtle pastels.
Here you can win a couple of their stripey mugs, inscribed with the names of your choice.
How cool would that be as a Valentines present in red and white? Inscribed for your loved one?
Or as a birthday pressie?
All you have to do is tweet or facebook about this site Find a supper club…

The Moroccan Dinner has been quite a hit with my lovely guests! I promised them flavour and colours and they were quite taken by this feast for the senses!
And for the occasion, I learnt how to make "feuilles de brik"- well worth the effort - they make the most delicious little briouats.
I do so love moroccan cuisine!…
