k a t i e a n d k i m s k i t c h e n

Maybe we have moaned to you about how we bought a dud van to pull our horsebox/kitchen fit for nothing but the scrap heap, we might have complained that we needed a trailer license we were unaware of. You maybe even heard me cursing Katie for not having passed her driving test or Katie telling me to calm down, that I'm not going to crash as I jerked down stokes croft dodging beeping cars or you may somehow have escaped our wrath? Anyway onwards and upwards we have a solution to our… Continue

Pig Feast June 25th

The highlight of each feast we are hosting will be a barbecued beast and to kick us off we spit-roasted a suckling pig, on a barbecue complete with a mechanised spit built specially for us by bicycle frame builder @wilkinsoncycles

Besides serving great food we really want our Supperclub to inspire conversation about it, and cooking a whole beast certainly…

Fortunately bakelady found the time to photograph some of the sandwiches and cakes and the photos are contained in her blog http://bakelady.wordpress.com/2011/07/11/tea-cake-journey-day-2/

Tearoom 8th July

It was a rainy day - but it didn't spoil the fun. My friend www.lily-mosaics.co.uk came along with 4 of her delightful friends. Always lovely to meet new people. Another friend attended and despite not knowing the others the conversation flowed freely along with the Earl Grey tea!

Sourced a bottle of apple juice produced by a local lady who has her own apple press and pasteurizer. Delicious.

Event was a great success - my friend Plum brought her stunning handmade jewellery, another guest Jane is a professional artist and my friend Pip who has recently finished her Fine Art degree left the event inspired to go home and start sketching.
